Hello, I am Hardeep and I am the founder of the company; my vision is not only for taking great images but to create the Big Day brand loved by thousands worldwide. I am particularly proud of the Big Day team of excellent photographers. We love working together and are a fun team. I believe in providing the highest quality in whatever I do and in putting the customer first. It is this combination that enables us to provide a great customer experience so people keep coming back and referring their friends – and it is my greatest achievement. When not running the business, I can be found behind the lens enjoying the chance to take images that really impress. In fact, photography has always been my passion. Coming from a design background I have always had a creative flair in everything I do. I have a real eye for detail and I love going the extra mile to capture those special moments. I’m an easy-going, down-to-earth photographer and I am very sociable so I mix well with all my clients and their guests.
Photography for me has always been more then just capturing an image. I find it dictates my way of life. A simple stroll in the park can spark ideas. I’d like to think of my photographic style as unorthodox in its approach, thinking outside of the box, capturing angles that not only look stunning but are beautifully composed. I let my images speak for themselves as I always thrive to capture raw emotions and event as they unfold throughout the day. Having come from a financial background, I found the constant bore of number crunching somewhat tiresome. Knowing my calling was in something more colourful and creative, I found my niche in photography. BigDay photography offered me an excellent opportunity to enjoy what i love doing, and now find myself shooting people for a living.
My name is Simon and i am an experienced, professional photographer. I have worked with many clients which include Sony, Yamaha, the BBC, the Corporation of London, marketing agency BMRK Solutions. My 20 years of experience began with using film photography at live music venues; the switch to digital means I can now deliver images faster than ever. I am inspired by angles, colours, light and shade as well as beautifully framed shots and I use this inspiration to deliver high quality photography for every single client. At BigDay Photography, I specialise in event photography where I run the portable studio at all events including weddings, proms and themed events.
My name is Tommy and I am the BigDay Photography Studio Technician. Woking alongside Simon, my job is to make sure the whole studio setup runs smoothly. I also deal with the onsite printing aspect of the studio, so that any client can walk away with printed and framed images on the day. Having come from a computer background, you will find me behind the screen of a laptop then the lens of a camera. But I love photography and I thoroughly enjoy working alongside BigDay Photography.
